PROVIDE FOR THE MUSEUM'S FUTURE
Every element of support is vital for the future of The
National World War II Museum and the chapters of history
we keep alive. Planned giving provides options for people
from all walks of life to offer the museum an assurance
of support in years to come and possibly further personal
financial goals.
We encourage prospective donors to work with our development
office and an estate planning professional you respect
to establish a charitable bequest or other planned gift.
Please contact Craig A. Bardell, Planned Giving Director
for The National World War II Museum if you have any questions.
Planned gifts include:
Bequest:
Many choose to name The National World War II Museum as a beneficiary
in their wills.

Life Income:
A permanent transfer of money, stock, or real estate to a
charitable remainder trust benefiting The
National World War II Museum can provide an income for you and a
survivor, generate a significant income tax
deduction, and eventually support the mission of The National
World War II Museum.
Gift of Life Insurance:
Life insurance policies purchased years ago to provide support
for children and other family members can become of little use
to some over time, but can be quite valuable to The National
World War II Museum if donated.
Charitable Lead Trust:
For individuals with larger estates, a charitable lead trust can
benefit The National World War II Museum while passing principal with
little or no tax penalty to the donor's family members.
Gifts of Retirement Plans:
When you name The National World War II Museum as a beneficiary of an
IRA, qualified retirement plan, or
non qualified deferred compensation payments, you retain control
over your assets as long as you need them, create possible tax
savings for your family and estate, and provide needed support
for The National World War II Museum’s future.”

retirement plan.
Gift of Appreciated Securities: If you would like to give more
but don’t want to use cash, consider donating appreciated stock.
You avoid paying tax on the long-term capital gains of the asset
and can take a charitable income tax
deduction for the fair market value on the date of the
gift. To
